His laid back attitude is what makes people believe him to be quite lazy. Well, that and the fact that he likes to move very slowly when not in combat or on a mission. Takeshi is also quite a flirt, and likes to show off in front of females that he finds attractive. The one female he refuses to flirt with however, unless of course he really feels like bugging her, is his best friend Mika Hayashi. When on missions, and in combat, Takeshi becomes very serious. That is when his intelligence shines through. Takeshi is a skilled strategist and he can be a ruthless combatant. When facing off against opponents that he is unfamiliar with, Takeshi will often keep his calm and lazy demeanor in order to fool them into thinking him more harmless and in order to better study their fighting skills. Takeshi’s biggest strength is his speed. When he chooses to move fast, there are very few who can match that speed, and fewer still who can beat it. History: Growing up Takeshi struggled as a ninja. He was never able to master any of the elemental jutsu that his classmates seemed to learn with ease. He found that his chakra control was very good, but he could not manifest any elemental chakra natures. Takeshi went through a period of depression, believing himself to be a failure as a ninja. His sensei was thankfully a kind man, and he helped Takeshi through this period, teaching him to keep training in his chakra control and his other skills, such as taijutsu and kenjutsu. As he watched the boy train, his sensei noticed that Takeshi was occasionally physically manifesting his chakra, just not in any specific element type. Takeshi seemed to be manifesting his chakra in its pure form. Having fought against ninjas that had similar chakra releases (most notably the Hyuuga clan from Konoha), Takeshi's sensei decided to try a new method of training. His sensei, Kurioshi, trained Takeshi to release his natural chakra and try to manifest it in it's pure form. Since Takeshi had already practiced great chakra control, it was easier for him to develop these techniques. He was soon able to release his pure chakra in a variety of different ways, some defensive, and some offensive. Takeshi and his sensei developed a fighting style that was similar to the Gentle Fist in terms of concept, but much different in its actual application. For one thing, Takeshi did not have the Hyuuga's ability to see chakra flows the way that the Hyuuga do using the Byakuugan. That meant that trying to strike his opponents in order to disrupt their chakra flow was out of the question. Instead, Takeshi used his pure chakra to add strength and cutting power to his attacks. He used his impressive natural speed to develop a fighting style that would allow him to get in close and use his chakra nature to either increase the strength of his attacks, or he would manifest his chakra into a physical form that would cause his attacks to cut his opponents as well. After years of practice, Takeshi was also able to release his chakra in a similar nature to the Hyuuga's classic rotation method. He once again was at a disadvantage in that he did not have the helpful eyes of the Byakuugan to help him see in near 360 degree vision, but he was still able to create a shield using his chakra, and by spinning himself at great speed. Continuing to train with his pure chakra release, Takeshi found a way to use it to dirsupt elemental attacks by using his Shatterpoint technique. This gave him a great advantage in combat, as he did not have to worry about having a weaker elemental nature type than his opponent. By having no elemenal nature at all, he was able to alter the way that techniques used against him would work. Kurioshi recommended that Takeshi train in the use of medical ninjutsu as it utilized natural chakra as well, rather than an elemental type. Due to his high levels of chakra control, Takeshi quickly picked up the basics and moved on to some of the more challenging techniques. He soon found that he had a problem with the idea of being a medical nin, however, as he did not wish to stay out of combat. Takeshi argued with his sensei about this for quite some time, and finally, due to his chakra control and defensive skills, he was allowed to participate in combat. Under the Fourth Mizukage's brutal regime, Takeshi became very closed up. He was promoted to a Jounin when he was 18 due to his incredible speed, his talent with medical ninjutsu, and his unique chakra release. The Mizukage thought that his skills would be useful against enemy shinobi. This unfortunately turned out to be true, and Takeshi became a sort of assassin, sent out to murder any nin that the Mizukage wanted gone. Takeshi's strategic mind, paired with his elemental interference techniques allowed him to easily accomplish these tasks, and he found himself completing more and more brutal tasks for the Mizukage. Although he kept quiet during this period, Takeshi hated himself, and hated the Mizukage for making him commit these atrocities. It was during one of these assassination missions where Takeshi first met Mika Hayashi. The two had been assigned to take down a previous classmate who had turned into a rogue ninja. Though Takeshi despised what he had to do, he understood the risk of letting a powerful rogue nin leave the village. While he hated the Mizukage, Takeshi still loved Kirigakure, and he wished to protect it. During the mission, Takeshi was consistently impressed by Mika's skill. The two worked together well, and continued to communicate long after the mission had ended. They became very close friends, despite their differences. Takeshi noticed that Mika had an affinity for water nature, and so he decided to teach himself to learn how to use lightning nature release. It took him six long years to be able to use lightning release with skill. He had to force himself to be able to alter his natural chakra, which was not an easy task for him. Takeshi had chosen to learn the lightning nature because he knew it made water release techniques much more potent, and he wanted to be more useful when working with Mika. The secondary reason that he learned lightning release, was to be able to use ranged attacks, as he previously relied on entirely short to mid ranged combat. Now that he has become a sensei, Takeshi hopes that he will be able to teach his students the way his sensei taught him. He is also watching the fifth Mizukage carefuly, unsure of what to think of her. He knows one thing for certain though, she is one of the only people he knows who is faster than him. It is one of his strongest defensive techniques, and one of the reasons he was promoted to the rank of jounin. The technique allows Takeshi to use his pure chakra release to cancel out ninjutsu that is used against him. By focusing on the attack, Takeshi is able to pin-point the weakness and by inserting his chakra into the weakpoint, he disrupts the attack. Weakness: The obvious weakness is that Takeshi has to be able to pin-point the weakpoint in the attack. This means that he has to have seen the technique used at least once before, and if it is a fast attack, he usually has to have seen it a couple of times before he can use Shatterpoint against it. It is also a short ranged defence, meaning he has to wait for the attack to come close to hitting him, which puts him at greater risk. ==================== Name of Technique: Body Blow Release Type of Jutsu: Ninjutsu Rank: C Range: Short Nature Type: Pure Handseals: None Description: By precisely controlling the chakra in his body, Takeshi is able to release a wave of pure chakra from all of the tenketsu points in his body simultaneously. This technique is very similar to the Hyuuga Clan's Gentle Fist Art One Blow Body and the only difference is simply that Takeshi cannot see his tenketsu so it takes him longer to gather the chakra than it would for a Hyuuga. Takeshi can also expel the chakra from specific points in his body instead of everywhere at once if he needs to use it more precisely. This provides him a lot of options for using the technique. Weakness: If used too many times, the technique will drain his chakra quite quickly. The technique also takes more time for him than someone who is able to see their tenketsu, as Takeshi must focus his chakra with incredible precision. ==================== Name of Technique: Great Whirlwind Defense Type of Jutsu: Ninjutsu Rank: C Range: Short Nature Type: Pure Handseals: None Description: A move similar to the Hyuuga clan's Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven. Takeshi releases chakra from all of his teketsu points while spinning to provide a whirlwind defense against attacks. Weakness: This technique uses a lot of chakra to keep up. Takeshi also does not have the near 360 degree vision that the Hyuuga's have and so if he is surprised by an attack from behind, he will not have as much time to begin the defense. ==================== Name of Technique: Technique Absorption Seal Type of Jutsu: Ninjutsu/Fuinjutsu Rank: A Range: Short Nature Type: Pure Handseals: Rat-Tiger-Ram-Boar-Snake-Dragon Description: Takeshi prepares himself to absorb a ninjutsu attack that is targeted against him. By allowing the attack to come near him, Takeshi begins spinning the chakra in his body the opposite way to absorb and negate the attack. Once the technique is absorbed, Takeshi must quickly release it, to get rid of the excess chakra. Weakness: Takeshi does not entirely negate all of the damage from attacks launched against him, as he is only able to absorb a certain amount of chakra. This means that if the attack uses a larger amount of chakra than he can absorb, he will still be hit by some of the effects, although the damage will have been reduced. Takeshi is also only able to absorb attacks of the fire, wind, lightning, and water natures. Anything from the earth nature has too solid a form for Takeshi to absorb, and so it will hit him with full damage. [/ul][/ul][/div] |

She has to work hard and she knows it or else she will fail the expectations of the man she respects most. And Nami doesn't enjoy failing him. Nami doesn't like to talk about herself and her past. Her memories are hers and no one has to know anything about it. That doesn't mean she is extremely anti-social or a closed person. It just means that whatever she says is often not what she means and what she means is not what she says. Because of her past Nami always had to look out for herself, all the troubles had to be shouldered by her since her brother was not ready for that, so she did and she grew from it. Functioning on her own is no problem for Nami because in the end you can always only fall back on yourself. Nami has a strong set of beliefs of how the world has to be because of the man that brought her up. Yet she does not talk about them. As with everything her thoughts mostly remain a secret to everyone. Those that get too close are to be ignored, persuaded to look the other way or beaten down. Keeping secrets is second nature for her. Giving someone information about herself or what she is doing could stab you in the back and Nami knows this from experience. This is why Nami has two sets of fighting capabilites. One to show off with and to openly train and one to use unnoticed. Nami is a sensor by default, always having had the capabilities to sense her surroundings to a certain degree, but she never told anyone this besides the man that adopted her. She uses Wind Release most of the time to defeat her enemies. History: Nami and her twinbrother Nagi were born in the beginning of the last year of the First Shinobi World War. It was a hard time, a time in which a lot of people died. Among those people were Nami and Nagi's parents and so the twins were among the many that went to Kirigakure's orphanhouses. They had no relatives that could take care of them, no friends of the family that could handle the burden of two more kids. Times were hard and people couldn't spare that much. The orphanage was what you would expect from an orphanage after war. Full. Kids young and old tried to grow up there and in the middle were the little twins. But they made it through one better then the other. Even though Nagi was the boy and he had been born first he was the weaker one and Nami was always looking out for him. The orphanage wasn't the richest in town so they had to live with what they got and it wasn't uncommon that they got nothing because others took it. Somehow Nami had a knack for it though. She just seemed to know when to hide and where, as if she knew where people were. This ability actually, unbeknown to Nami, came from the fact that she had an affinity for sensing. But how much Nami tried to help her brother he just was not very strong and when they were eleven he fell ill. Soon he was not able to leave his bed anymore and after a couple of weeks he seemed to just give up and die. Nami was lonely then. They had lived with each other, they had lived off each other's energy. Now that he was gone there was just nothing left. But she couldn't give up her life. She had tried giving her life to her brother already by giving him all she had, her food, her blankets, but it hadn't worked so clearly she was meant to live and he wasn't. For a year Nami hang about, hiding, unknowingly improving her own skills. When she was twelve, however, this changed. She was adopted together with a few others. The person who adopted them gave them a roof above their head, gave them food and most of all sent them to the Academy. Apparantly he saw potential in the kids he had found. The rules in the house were strict and were meant to be followed, but Nami lived. She lived and it was thanks to that man. Without him she would never have been able to afford school, she would never have been able to learn anything at all and she would have ended on the street. And while he might not be awfully nice, he was her savior and in some way she worshipped him for that. He taught her about the world and about what she needed to believe in, what she had to fight for. With those things in mind she graduated and aims to reach further and show that man that she can do what he wants her to do. Help the world And Nami did that. Father worked closely with Kimi, a member of the organistation that had been opposing the Dragon Lotus. After returning from a mission with Takeshi Nami was told to deliver a package to Kimi. Dutifully she did this despite knowing that the content was... less than savory. It was the head of Rika, the Mizukage's dead son. Upon completing the duty she was informed by Kimi that she would bring the package to the Mizukage herself. Not able to not follow the orders, Nami presented the Mizukage with the package and moments later, as she stood outside, used the Kai seal to blow up the package, hereby killing the Mizukage. The view of the small woman dead still haunts Nami's dreams to this day. And the same time Nami's life also took a positive turn as she met Daiki Shun. Also like some might suspect from his often serious expression, he doesn't often joke around or likes to joke much with people who he doesn't consider close enough. Which thus means almost everybody, save it for family and a few select ones. His serious attitude often makes him sigh and shake his head more than a few times when he is around his older sibling, when the latter decide to either act like a lazy bum or goofing around. Though there is so far nobody else who Daiki trust more or would sacrifice something to keep his sibling safe from possible and potential harm. Unless it is a woman who lungs at him, then he would likely turn around and walk away. Whistling. History: Unlike his older sibling, Daiki didn't had the same trouble and struggle as his older brother. He managed to just get through the Academy with the average amount of work and effort. His grades showed that he had a good talent for a more tactical mindset and after some tests, it turned out that he had some potential talent in sealing ninjutsu. This earned some surprise as it was suspected that Daiki would face the same problems as Takeshi. After his graduation, when he was twelve years old, Daiki was placed in a squad. During his time as a genin, Daiki managed to learn more. He tried to increase his proficiency with taijutsu and ninja tools. His main interest became sealing ninjutsu, but he was wise enough to know that to specialize in one field didn't mean that he could squander the others. His team did just the missions that weren't above their level and though Daiki often agreed with his team members that they were not that hard, he was kind of grateful for it. When he had free time, he often was spending it in libraries where he killed time by reading all kinds of books. The phrase that knowledge is power was once drove Daiki to try to understand things better, but over time he just loved to read all kind of books. Not only those who would help him to understand something. For the next couple of years, Daiki kept doing what almost became routine. A mission that was on genin level and once he had free time, spending his time training or reading away in the libraries. At some times he tried to spend time with Takeshi, but due the slightly age difference and fact that Daiki wasn't that much interested in lazying around, he was more or less on his own. Which he didn't mind as he could thus keep attention away from him. Nobody would pay attention to somebody who would spend his time mostly on himself. Even though he wasn't worried that he would catch the attention of the Fourth Mizukage, there was always that small voice in the back of his head that warned him to be cautious. When Daiki became fourteen, he was signed to participate in the chuunin exams. Though he had a hard head that he would be both capable of passing the exams as becoming a chuunin, Daiki managed to do so. His other two team members however were less lucky and stayed genin. For some time Daiki was still part of his old team, but as he progressed he was enlisted to chose between becoming part of another team of a sensei squad or a chuunin squad. Once Daiki had found out that he could join his older sibling, he decided to take the chance. Though Daiki doesn't see himself as lazy, the choice he made would enable him to have more free time. Which doesn't mean he is lazy! History:
A summoning choice. Instead of a summoning that would be a boon in battle, Daiki chose for Iroh. He saw more use in a summoning that could do more than just be helpful in a pinch. From that logic, he started to train and help Iroh into helping with small tasks. But tasks that would be provide a good boon for Daiki's skill. With the information that Iroh gather, Daiki could and still can make plans that can put him in the advantage. That and the two get along quite well.
