Explaining some roles :
Each role will be named and behind will said in which village the role is present. Over time a role can be invoked by the leader(s) of a village as well vanish if it has been vacant for too long.
Guard Commander,
Currently Kumogakure.
ANBU Commander :
Currently Kumogakure
Jounin Commander :
Currently Konohagakure, Amegakure and Kumogakure
Spy Master :
Currently Kirigakure.

A person that holds the office of being the commander of the police force as well a judge. The person that holds this office is regarded as one that helps to maintain the peace and security in a village. Often needed to direct the police to deal with petty crimes, but can also be sent to personally deal with something that is a bit bigger than a robbery.
ANBU Commander :
Currently Kumogakure
This office makes the appointed person the commander of the ANBU. This means that other than the Kage, the commander has the right to lead the ANBU division as the second hand of the Kage, sending them out on missions and such. This is a position that should be given to those who can be trusted as it is a highly secretive position.
Jounin Commander :
Currently Konohagakure, Amegakure and Kumogakure
A person that holds the position of Jounin commander is appointed as the general or second in command, underneath the respective kage of the village, as the commander over the regular forces. This shouldn't be confused with the police and ANBU forces, but rather the regular military shinobi corps and divisions. In times of peace a jounin commander can send squads on missions and in times of war can lead together with a kage the military, often being on the frontlines or near it.
Spy Master :
Currently Kirigakure.
The leader of the spies and intelligence division of a village. The appointed person that holds this office is the one responsible for operatives and operations that are meant to gather intel of other factions and states, but also counter-intelligence.

Short history :
Team 2 was first formed and led by Kanajiro Hanamoto. It was a team that scored above average, mostly for having some talented genins in the team that were able to progress by training by themselves. This gave the first few Team 2 formations a status that they were kind of more independent than most teams.
However, with Kanajiro showing his less potent side, he soon would lose his position as a sensei. On which he soon disappeared afterwards. The oldest member of the team that is left alive from this early formation was Yumi Hasewaga. With Yumi however becoming a part of the ANBU squadron, Kiyomi was soon assigned to become the newest sensei and leader of the team. Under her lead, she would have several students but only two so far keep remaining to keep her expectations high enough that she doesn't dismiss them. Both are boys that also have known and worked a lot with Kiyomi in the past. Leo Hasewaga, the younger half sibling of Yumi, and Hayate Hyuzu of the Hyuzu clan.

Manner of training :
Kiyomi trains her students most of the time herself when she has the time and is capable of helping them. Though just a bit older, her current students respect her well enough to not argue against her. They also seem to have faith in her capabilities as a sensei and mentor, helping them to become not only better in combat, but also harden them for what is the cruel world outside the safe walls of Konohagakure. The team is often having a balanced training between controlling one's emotions and personality, knowledge and combat skills. This is all done of course with some good discipline, something every student of Team 2 is familiar with.
But Kiyomi often lets her students train by themselves so that she can attend to her other duties that she is needed to do. This gives the students of Team 2 again a more independent feeling than most regular teams would have.
Sensei's opinion on students :
Leo Hasewaga :
A very loyal shinobi that has a certain attitude that already shows a promising future. His bloodline ability is also already something to reckon with as I dare to predict if he would spend time and effort, he would be able to match the level of Yumi.
Hayate Hyuzu
Like Leo, he has an attitude that shows how Team 2 is. Loyal, disciplined and strong. Hayate is a shinobi that isn't the type to rush in and with his versatile manner of fighting and adapting to a situation or enemy, I dare to predict as well that he will be a splendid shinobi.
Tatsuya Hon
A genin that shows promising talents, but one that needs to be properly guided. Unlike others from Team 2, he will need some special training due what he holds inside of him. Other than that, he shows the natural traits that a true Hon Shinobi has. Hopefully I can provide the guidance he needs to proceed in a way that will benefit him as others.

The team always had a close focus on close to mid range specialized students, that are often able to be more independent than most regular nin. In the short history the most notable things are that in a formation it once was composed with the host of the Kyuubi and that the oldest member, from the first formation, Koike Hon is still present. That and that the team has yet to bring forth a chuunin.

Team 8 usually does a team training, but Aiko also often takes one student for a private training. It is to give some more attention to a field or skill that a student of Team 8 needs to polish or improve. And though Aiko has a busy schedule outside of her team, she often is more than willing to try to arrange something or somebody to help to improve her team.
Sensei's opinion on students :
Koike Hon :
A very loyal member of Team 8. Dates back from the first formation of the team. Though most would call him cold and distant, he is one of my most loyal and skilled student. One that doesn't back down from hard work or doing something against his preferences, Koike is a smart and clever shinobi that will make it far now that he doesn't hold himself back. Though...
Katsu Uchiha :
A very bright young genin. Though I need to see more, I can already conclude that Katsu is a very intelligent person, able to make good analyzes of a situation and has a good taste for teamwork and team spirit. I am however worried that he doesn't look with enough confidence at himself as he hasn't shown yet any pride in himself, though it suits him to be modest.
Yukara Cho
A member of my own clan, Yukara has shown already some skill that fills me with pride to know she is one of my kin. Though she is often quick to judge, she has shown loyalty at the same time and a good knack at some ninjutsu fields. I think she will do more than fine as she has some nice talents.

Short history :
Team 9 history of being formed is being traced all back to several years back, before the imminent attack of the Kyuubi on Konohagakure. The team has known several formations, but has been holding the record of being one of Konoha's most disciplined teams under the leadership of Hiron Hon. With their grim reputation, the team has also brought forth several good examples of chuunin.
One the few feats of the team is that it has served in the Third Division in the short Suna-Konoha and Kumo alliance war. They were the division that intercepted the enemy forces and ambushed them, leading the way open for the two other Division to strike at the main forces of the enemy. Other than that, the team is still being seen as a place where one can get be trained in a way to succeed both in a shinobi career as to get past the Exams. At least alive.

It isn't just for the past characters that have been grim, disciplined and cold towards their goal and enemies that gave the team the infamous name in Konohagakure. It is their training as well. While some sensei tend to hold back, Hiron merciless test and trains his students. If they aren't able to keep up, they are being pushed until they can or resign from the team. Though it also has gained some dislike from others, Team 9 has proven to be efficient when it comes to training.
These days it is however less grim and harsh than before due the newest formation, but even so. The team still holds up to the grim training regime it gets from their current sensei.

Mia Inuzuka
''Proud and grim. She has been one of the oldest members of the team, having joined from the starting days of the last short war. I had believed at first that she wasn't fit to become a kunoichi, being too fragile in confidence and strength. But she has managed to survive the war and has grown from it. While even the past formations of the team. A proud member of Team 9.''
Masami Hyuuga
''I have great expectations from her. Not because she is a Hyuuga and has shown some individual skills that I am content with. No, it is because of her records. She has been the student of some names that make me believe she must be good. I will see if she has the mentality and guts to keep up with the Team's regime and discipline that comes with it. Even while she is a friend of my daughter, I will not be sparing her from anything that the others have to endure.''

''I know that I can be confident about my own wit and tactical insight, having earned my jounin rank with mostly showing that. But this boy is something else. Though I am slightly wondering how he will turn out with his profile showing some troubles for him to become a well functioning shinobi, he has shown the ability and skill to see through some of my training and tactics. I will be interested to see how he will continue to strive for progress, against the odds he is facing at the moment.''
