She enjoys spending time with her friends and also enjoys messing around with them from time to time. She is very affected by her family, and her older sister has always been a huge influence on her. She is somewhat optimistic, always trying to look on the bright side of things, but overall, she is a kind of person who is always nice to be around. History: Mei's history is a fairly simple one. She grew up in Amegakure ever since she was born, and had a pair of parents and an older sister who saw the village as great as it could be. She could never see the village the same way they have, but she did learn to respect it. She grew up with her father helping her train from time to time, but his focus was on Hoshi, as he felt she was the one with the greater potential. After she graduated from the academy, she was very quickly assigned to a team and they begin doing mission, and she became good friends with her teammates, who were named Naoko and Sayo. They had a good team and managed to do a fair amount of missions until they got an A ranked mission. They were assigned to take out a possible threat to Amegakure, one which they were told that could very easily become a larger threat if they were not successful. They even got an escort with them to ensure the mission's success. Mei, who was 14 at the time and also lost her father several years ago, was determined to ensure her mom and sister and friends will be safe. The team went out on the mission, and once they reached the border, Mei was somewhat surprised. They were facing a group of 40 people, all of whom determined that Amegakure was rightfully theirs. Their sensei decided that there was no point in attempting an ambush, so he made a plan that he will provide a distraction and Mei, Naoko and Sayo will begin attacking and use the larger ranged attacks they had to take out as many people as they could. As the assault on the small army begun, it appeared as if it was going in their favour. They managed to take out more than 10 people with relative ease, until the leader arrived and told them to cease their attack or their sensei will die. They indeed stopped, but suddenly their sensei revealed he turned himself into a living timebomb which will trigged with the last beat of his heart. Mei watched with surprise as Naoko charged forward and struck their sensei, and a moment later their sensei thanked her before his head dropped and Naoko jumped backwards, grabbed Sayo and Mei's wrists and begin pulling them further away as the explosive tags on their sensei's body begun exploding, taking out most of the group with him as he also placed several explosive tags on the trees surronding the area. Sayo managed to get out of Naoko's grip, saying she will not leave their sensei behind and then running back towards the burning camp. Mei have never seen Sayo or her sensei afterwards. Considering Naoko as the only friend she has left, and knowing what she did was for the sake of the village, the two grew closer together, becoming very good friends. Naoko, however, was promoted to Specilized Jounin a couple of years afterwards, and from that point on, it felt like Naoko was also less in Ame. But Mei managed to still help her older sister, who became the Jounin Commander only a couple of weeks afterwards. She was assigned to be on patrols around the village every few hours, which meant she was always close to home.  Weapons/Items:

Most of the time you'll find her training, alone or with others, or find out she is away on a mission. On the rare chance she is not training or on a mission, you will find her spending time either reading a book, enjoying herself with her best friend Mei, or just wandering around Amegakure, seemingly lost in her thoughts. She is very secretive about what she can do, considering herself to be an average shinobi and nothing more, as she wishes to maintain the possibility of surprising her foes and friends at all times. Due to this, she is also good at keeping any kind of secrets. History: Naoko's history is a very vague one. She does not remember anything from before the age of 7, when she found herself at the steps leading to an orphanage. She was told that she was most likely abandoned by her parents and had a case of amnesia or something of that sort to help ease her pain. The caretaker of the orphanage named her Naoko, as she thought she looked very obedient. Since that day, Naoko grew up being, indeed, very obedient and followed any rule she was given. She showed the first signs of using chakra at the age of 8, when she leaned on the water, focusing the chakra on her hand to be able to reach a ring that another kid in the orphanage has accidently dropping in the water. This made it clear for the caretaker that Naoko also had a talent with chakra, and enlisted her in the academy. After a year, Naoko finished the academy, excelling and being assigned to a team shortly afterwards at the age of 9. She had secretly begun training with Lightning release after stealing a chakra note and seeing it become crumpled completely. She appeared to be very good at learning how to make her chakra control better, and at the age of 11 begun using Lightning techniques along with Taijutsu, which was something that deeply impressed her sensei, and he decided to train with her one on one. She revealed to him how much she truly knew, making him surprised, but he also trained her with a lot more concentration, also revealing to her in the proccess that he only has a few years to live. Naoko took this to her heart, wondering if she will see the day that he will die. After passing the Chuunin exams at the age of 11, she was surprised to learn her team has slightly changed, which now consisted of her sensei, Sayo and Mei. She quickly thought Mei was a bit too friendly, while Sayo appeared to cling to their sensei too much. She managed to master Lightning release at the age of 14, and Also mastered her own style of Nintaijutsu shortly afterwards. A couple of months after she turned 15, her team was assigned to a special mission, which was, as they were told, important to their village. Time appeared to slow down for Naoko when he revealed that fact. She realised that was it. That was how he wanted to go out. She snapped her fingers, making lightning come to her hand and partial arm, before using chakra to enhance her speed and striking her sensei through the heart. Hearing her sensei's final whisper, which was to thank her, she quickly pulled her hand out of his chest and jumped backwards, grabbing Sayo and Mei's wrists and beginning to pull them further away as she ran away from the explosions that occured. Unfortunatly, Sayo managed to release herself and went back to the camp, trying to save their sensei, but Naoko was focused on bringing herself and Mei back to safety. With that mission being deemed as a success, Naoko recieved her next promotion into a Specilized Jounin, due to the amount of successful missions she was in, as well as her very impressive skill in Lightning Nintaijutsu. She became closer with Mei, now considering her to be her best friend, and also started working on her own, unique lightning technique. Theme Song: Weapons/Items:

Description:
After the user gathered lightning in her arms and hands, they can start attacking using taijutsu regulary. However, each successful impact will cause a temporary paralyze at the spot which was hit, up to 5 seconds of being paralyzed depending on the strength of the hit.

Can be dodged, seeing it requires a direct hit. Water can be used to send the lightning back at the user.

This technique is similair to the Lightning Touch technique, except this technique will send the full amount of lightning at the first hit that manages to strike, which can cause a person to be knocked out if against a surface or be sent backwards a bit. Can also cause a small burn on the spot which is hit.

Can be dodged, seeing it requires a direct hit. Water can be used to send the lightning back at the user.

Description:
Creates a small lightning dagger in the user's hand. Upon hitting anything, the lightning will spread across the surface it hits. If a person is hit, it will cause immediate paralyze for 10 seconds. Will leave a burn mark on the spot hit, and can cause a tree to crack. The dagger can be thrown.
Weakness:
Can be dodged, both if used close ranged or thrown. Wind techniques can be used to make it ineffective if thrown, and water can completely neutrilize it, but also send the lightning back at the user.

Description:
After Concentrating and collecting lightning chakra at the edge of the finger, the user lowers the thumb and shoots the lightning at the target. Upon impact, the lightning will not only paralyze the target, but can also cause severe burn on both sides of the body on the spot and slightly around where the Lightning bullet hit, as well as make kill some of the nerves in a body for good. If a muscle is hit, then the person can lose the ability to move that muscle for a short period, up to half a minute. Can also make more physical damage to the body if a lot of lightning is gathered.
It is possible to use both hands and make a dual version of this jutsu, but it takes a lot more chakra and much more concentration.
Weakness:
Fairly small and cannot be manipulated after it was shot, so the target needs to stay still for the lightning bullet to hit. Water can redirect the lightning and stop it completely, Wind can also stop the bullet mid-way. Also takes time to collect the lightning chakra at the tip of the finger, giving a few seconds window where the user is completely open.
