The kind of person that values morals such as honesty, respect, integrity, etc. Though he is typically a forgiving person, many mistake his kindness for weakness. That is not the case. As well, he is very well aware of his limits, and knows his boundaries. But this allows for him to try to push them farther. Despite his nature, he is rather stubborn in the sense that once his mind is made up, it's difficult for him to change it. Though this isn't usually a problem, as he is far from ignorant, it can be annoying to some at times. History: Hiroshi's past is largely unknown. He one day appeared in Kirigakure to sign up for the Academy at the age of nine. When questioned about his past, he said that his parents wanted to avoid Kiri but he wanted to become a shinobi. But he never explains more than that. However, it was soon figured out that he had a Kekkei Genkai, Scorch Release. Though his physical skills were what shined the most, this development led him to practice his chakra control and Ninjutsu skills. Somewhere along the line, he got the attention of one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, Dayu Tsurimi. While still in the Academy, Dayu decided to tutor Hiroshi to succeed him as a Swordsman, with the legendary blade Hiramekarei. It was also in the Academy that he met his best friend, Honzo Ariwara, and his long-time crush, Rika Suzu. Though he never quite got her attention in those days, he did manage to improve his own skills. Becoming chuunin at twelve and tokubetsu jounin at 16, he was offered a well-paying job at the prison as a night guard. Since he never quite liked the inconsistency of mission work, he took the opportunity. However, one day fate had other plans. Rika Suzu was and several of her relatives were imprisoned following the collapse of their clan. After two weeks of captivity, Hiroshi's kinder side got the better of him and he unintentionally allowed Rika to escape. This cost him his job and he was publicly humiliated for such a failure. A few years later, Dayu finally passed away, passing on the legendary Hiramekarei onto him. However, though Dayu accepted him, the other Swordsmen did not like him. He was quite different from them in personality and style, after all. This led to him being called The Rookie, despite being just as skilled as any of them. Only the youngest. But after another few years passed, the girl he once held affection for came back. Rika Suzu returned to the village and confronted the Mizukage, who was responsible for her clan's demise. With the other Swordsmen, Hiroshi was called in to defend the Mizukage. But despite the numbers and skill of the Swordsmen plus the Mizukage, Rika defeated all of them and killed the Mizukage. Before she could leave, Hiroshi mustered some courage and asked her to stay, even suggesting her take the seat of Mizukage since her ideals were so drastically different from the previous tyrant. She accepted the idea, and found that Hiroshi was the only one she could confide in. After defending Rika from several assassination attempts by remnants of the Fourth Mizukage's regime, she started to develop an affection for him too. This resulted in a relationship with the now-Mizukage that has also resulted in the two having a child. Though he and Rika are not married, it is common knowledge that he had proposed to her once before, but she rejected it based on the fact she cannot give up her clan's name until their son has a child of his own. He and Rika are both busy people, as he has become her appointed bodyguard (by her own decision, to keep him close at all times), but they have a young nanny taking care of their child (while under the watchful eye of ANBU). Rather than using regular chakra to channel into Hiramekarei, Hiroshi will channel his Scorch chakra into it. This makes the chakra aura pink rather than blue and adds the same effects as Scorch release techniques. Since this has no extra chakra cost, it is incredibly cost effective. As well, due to being Scorch nature, it is incredibly lethal, as even scratches can be crippling let alone proper cuts.
Weakness:
Due to being Scorch, however, it has a water weakness. Water techniques can keep the chakra at bay.

The timing and position of the swings combined with the chakra radiating from it essentially creates a chakra wall that will block or slice incoming attacks to ribbons. In fact, the thickness of chakra even blocks Genjutsu from passing through. Anyone foolish enough to touch it will be harmed, especially if Hiroshi is using his Scorch chakra.
Weakness:
This only covers the direction he is facing. Attacks from the flanks will get past. As well, this is an exhausting move to keep up due to the weight of the weapon and the speed it is operated at.

History: Born to the Nakasato merchant family at the cost of her mother's life, Akira spent her young life as the sole successor to the travelling business. Her father, Reijiro, was a wealthy man that took care to educate his daughter. Not only about business and general education, but also life skills and understanding human beings. So as she grew into her teenage years, she was already quite intelligent. Of course, judging by appearance alone, she appeared to most as a ditzy rich girl. But that did nothing to bother her, as she was also a general center of male attention. In spite of all that, she assisted with her father's business and travelled the world with him. However, one day when she was sixteen, her father grew ill while stopping in Konohagakure. The hospital took him in, but soon ran out of antibiotics to keep the infection at bay. By sheer coincidence, a young Jinkama Moto was recently hospitalized in the next room. The two eventually ran into each other, to which Jinkama was immediately infatuated with her. Upon learning of her father's condition, Jinkama took it upon himself to retrieve the antibiotics shipment that had been mysteriously delayed. Several days and a massive political fiasco later, Jinkama returned with the medicine. Unlike all the other boys that had chased her thus far, he had actually done something to get on her good side. Though she didn't initially return his feelings, she did consider him a good person and a close friend. After Reijiro recovered, he decided to set up another shop in Konoha. So the two constantly travelled between their two stores in Keishi and Konoha. It was two years later that Jinkama once again helped her greatly. Akira was held at swordpoint while the store was being robbed, and much to her surprise Jinkama saved her. Because of his daily habit of checking in with her at the shop, he found the robbery in progress and jumped in. It was at this point that Akira developed an infatuation with Jinkama. But she dared not show it, especially to Jinkama. She played coy, at first. A little-known fact about Akira is that when she was eighteen years old, she was arrested for assault. While she was shopping for groceries for her and her father, she overheard a conversation between two older women about a recent job that Konoha Team 1 had performed that resulted in the destruction of two city blocks. They criticized Jinkama especially, to which Akira joined the conversation to defend him. The debate got heated, and both parties lost their cool and Akira threw the first punch to start the brawl. She was bailed out later that night by her father, but she wouldn't confess the reason she punched the woman for another two years. Shortly after that ordeal, she finally decided to take Jinkama up on his date offer, and thus began a relationship that would result in their marriage two years later. Shortly after their marriage, her father was murdered in another robbery attempt. This left Akira as the one in charge of the textile goods chain that her father made. While Jinkama would do shinobi work, she would run the business. However, after she became pregnant with her son, Katsuko, she sold the business to focus more on future family. As the Shinobi World War was going on, her life began to become much more hectic. With the birth of her son, taking in her niece Keiko following the deaths of her parents, and Jinkama's promotion to General, Akira grew quite flustered. But she persevered. During the early days of the war, Jinkama taught Akira how to defend herself by expelling her natural chakra element, and how to defend herself using household items. This came in handy later when Kirigakure spies invaded their home while the vast majority of Konoha's forces tended to the war effort. In order to protect herself, Katsuko, and Keiko, Akira put her limited skills to good use and single-handedly dispatched three shinobi. Following that event, Jinkama assigned several bodyguards to watch his family. By the time the Shinobi World War was over, Akira had been pushed to her limits. Not only did she take care of her family, but was often called upon to cook food for the war effort and was even often updated on frontline news. The Moto household was always a busy one for those years, and Akira was the one managing the madness. As it settled down and life began to go back to normal, she assumed a typical housewife role in order to better raise Katsuko and Keiko. As they grew older and followed the shinobi path as well, Akira had briefly contemplated starting up another business once they were out of the house. But she decided that she would retire early with the money she saved away. However, her plan was ruined when the Konoha Elders targeted Jinkama. After framing him for murder, he was forced to leave the village. On Akira's 36th birthday. She knew that Jinkama had business with Dragon Lotus, but was smarter than to inquire. But now it was haunting her. Still she carried on. It was when Katsuko vanished as well that she began to feel particularly terrible. Keiko moved back in with her and the two lived normally. Though both were depressed in their own ways, Akira waited patiently for her son and husband to return. One day, while cleaning the house, she found a hidden deed to a mansion just out of Konoha. Jinkama had planned to surprise her with that the day he was forced out of the village. Akira and Keiko packed up and moved to the Kamisato Estate, renaming it the Moto Estate. Two years went by and the secret war between Dragon Lotus and the Konoha Elders reached its climax, resulting in Jinkama and Katsuko returning to the village. Akira was ecstatic that her boys were back and life could go back to normal. Unlike her thrill-seeking husband and son, she was perfectly content with the peaceful life. She would never quite be granted that, however. The Oppression of Shoji came around, and as a part of a campaign to arrest Hiron Hon, Keiko's fiancée, the soldiers arrested the entire Moto family, including Akira though excluding Katsuko as he was away on a mission when this whole thing happened. Confined in a prison cell, she also learned of her husband's fatal illness. Though a strong woman, this information hit her hard. But she never let it show. After the Oppression was over, she tried to return to normal. But the thought of Jinkama dying, plus his visibly fading health, stuck in the back of her mind. The day that Keiko finally gave birth was the day Jinkama died. After a dramatic assassination attempt on the entire Moto family that day, Jinkama passed away. Akira kept her strong appearance, but his passing was too much for her. Though Keiko's daughter, Aimi, was like a granddaughter to her, she found no joy. The widow tried her best to keep her depression hidden away, but her close family could still tell. At this point, she had been married to Jinkama for twenty-two years. Despite her incredibly young appearance, she was now middle-aged and with no husband. Keiko was out of the house with her own family. That left just her and her son, Katsuko. Though the entire Moto family is still recovering from Jinkama's death, Akira had it the worst. She only hid it from the others, since she was the matriarch figure and had to be the example. Her motherly wisdom wouldn't allow her to show weakness to those that looked to her for comfort. The loss of the love of her life still haunts her more so than anyone else, but she has been able to stay strong. Her marriage to Jinkama had made her famous and respected across the village. Even in her younger days, many looked up to her for her wisdom and were often baffled that "a woman like her would be with a man like Jinkama." Though she is now a widow, Konoha still respects her greatly and many have offered her assistance should she ever ask. Recently, Akira has decided to become a village elder, since Konoha has gone without an elder council since the previous generation of Elders turned out to be corrupt. Kind of OP for a character who has impressive speed, strength and other traits. Want to see this changed.
Maybe also tuning down the first one, as a scratch is lethal? Scorch release is indeed said to be deadly, but we don't have to literally follow the canon. Please tune it a bit down.

When she was twelve years old and became a genin, her grandfather presented her with her own personal Chakra Brush, as they were called. They take six months to make, so they can be perfectly in tune with their owner's chakra. Now armed and skilled, Naomi was ready to take on the shinobi lifestyle. Only things didn't go according to plan. Her personality put many people off and she had a dismal social life. And come time for the chuunin exams, she fell ill and couldn't participate. Though she understands the need to have fun, she is against excessive amounts of it as she believes it breeds unruliness. In this manner, she will take it upon herself to preserve order and keep chaos at bay. She behaves in a high-class manner and will often talk down to people she sees as idiots, but there are a few exceptions to that trait. She has a very close bond with Sayuri Yamada and takes it upon herself to protect her and try to further her education and make her even brighter. Considering that alone, it is safe to say that Maki herself is quite the intelligent being. While she is perfectly capable of putting on a façade that she is not a shinobi, deep down inside she has a fighting spirit. One that doesn't accept defeat. Despite that hidden side and even her general disposition, Maki is generally pleasant company. So long as those around her are mature, that is. History: The early childhood of Maki Watanabe is unfortunately lost to the ages. She appeared in the Hidden Grass Village at the age of seven, not willing to talk to anyone, let alone give herself a name. However, due to her malnourished state and sickly appearance, an elderly couple gave her food and took her in temporarily. Since she refused to give a name, they originally called her Scarlet. However, after several weeks of this, she confessed her real name was Maki. She also confessed that she wasn't from around the area and that her parents were gone. Thus, the elderly couple adopted her, giving her their surname of Watanabe. Once Maki started warming up to them, they were quite startled with how she was. With her health back, it turned out the girl was surprisingly energetic and even more so intelligent. She would often get in scuffles with children her age, though nothing ever serious. However, one day, she picked a fight with another girl that came from a shinobi family and was already trained. Maki's adoptive parents happened to be nearby and feared for Maki's safety and tried to break it up, but they weren't quick enough to stop it. The other girl used an earth Ninjutsu to attack Maki. However, to everyone's surprise, the little red-haired girl suddenly used a lightning technique of her own to defend herself. When questioned how she knew Ninjutsu, Maki said her parents taught her. When questioned why she never said she was a shinobi in training, her answer was simply "nobody ever asked." It was realized on that day that Maki had great skill and potential as a kunoichi, and the Hidden Grass Village wanted to capitalize on this. Her adoptive parents signed her up for the Academy, since it not only was something she could do that she seemed to enjoy, it allowed her to spend all that energy in a way that didn't involve beating up other kids. Maki demonstrated that she already knew most of the material the Academy had to teach and became a genin at the age of ten. At the age of eleven, Maki completed the chuunin exam tournament in first place. However, she was not promoted to chuunin, as the coordinators did not believe she had the attitude deserving of a promotion. So across the next year, Maki practiced more on having a less feisty attitude and a more formal one. A professional personality. Upon going through the exams again, she was promoted to chuunin at the age of twelve. Before she could do much, the Shinobi World War broke out. Though the Hidden Grass Village wasn't a primary participant in the war, it's location on the map made it a battleground for Konoha and Suna forces. During the time of the war, Maki was given a post in the capital of the River Country (the country the Hidden Grass Village resides in). She was part of a team assigned to keep all shinobi forces from the larger countries from entering. Though this was largely a pointless position, there was one time when they were actually called to action. A Sunagakure scout legion was trying to pass through the region to sneak up on Konohagakure forces in the north. Maki and her team intercepted the legion and told them to take their war business elsewhere. In response, the Suna shinobi killed the team leader and attacked the rest of the team. Maki assumed control of the mission immediately and used her immense skill combined with her deceptively weak appearance to batter Suna forces until more Grass nin arrived. After Sunagakure's forces retreated, the Daimyo of the River Country personally congratulated Maki on her skill and resolve. For her efforts in the war, she was promoted to jounin, at the age of fifteen. Shortly after these events, the Shinobi World War died down and the River Country found peace again. However, due to her involvement in protecting the capital, Sanada Yamada, the River Daimyo, invited Maki to work under his personal guard. Feeling honored to be tasked with something so important as the life of her country's leader, Maki obliged. A year after her promotion, the leader of the Hidden Grass Village challenged a seventeen year old Maki to a friendly spar. This stemmed from a circulating rumor that Maki Watanabe was the strongest shinobi in the River Country. With a large audience, including the Daimyo, Maki defeated her superior and earned the title of strongest. Now regarded as the most powerful shinobi of the region, she went back to protecting the Daimyo. However, as the Daimyo began to have children, he reassigned the mission of his personal guard so each shinobi would protect one of his children as a permanent guardian. As two of his three children were male and two of his three bodyguards were male, Maki was paired with his daughter, Sayuri. Though at first it was mostly boring, as at the time Sayuri was only an infant, Maki began to assist the Daimyo's wife in taking care of her. As such, her role as bodyguard slowly shifted to a sort of nanny type position. And as Sayuri grew older, this developed further into a caretaker job. Not only was she responsible for Sayuri's protection, something that was realized to be very important once it was discovered how frail the girl was, she took it upon herself to educate Sayuri and also spend free time with her so she would have at least some social interactions. What started out as a job formed a bond between the two. Though Sayuri, nor her brothers, were informed that their personal caretakers were actually top-of-the-line shinobi, Sayuri still found a fascination with Maki and determined that she was a role model. So as not to disappoint her young master, Maki has made the effort to be seen as both noble and strong willed, as well as intelligent and respectable. Even without Sayuri or her family in the room, Maki has enough power in presence alone to command the attention of those around her. Something she hopes will rub off on little Sayuri. Skills/AbilitiesThough she lacks physical strength, her speed and precision make her an excellent taijutsu user. Her skill at combining her lightning release with her taijutsu gives her highly effective with Nintaijutsu. Her ability to analyze a situation is also handy, but her skillset has little variety so she can't make the most of her intellect. Special TraitsCan perform her lightning techniques without the use of handseals in emergency situations. Though her chakra reserves are nothing special, her chakra control is quite impressive. Description:
Maki can temporarily make her entire body (or specific parts) composed entirely of red lightning. In this manner, this can be considered a lightning release version of the Hozuki clan's Hydrification. However, there are some key differences beyond element. For starters, the Electrification technique allows Maki great speed, being able to mold herself in the shape of a lightning bolt to easily outmaneuver even quick foes. As well, contact with her will shock and cut foes, so it has offensive capability. However, the defensive properties as compared to the Hydrification technique are less impressive. In an electrified state, she can still be struck by attacks, albeit most of them hit weaker due to her matter being less solid. But the fact is she can still be struck.
Weakness:
Elemental Ninjutsu can still damage her when in an electrified state. Particularly wind techniques. However, water techniques have the interesting effect of forcing her out of this technique upon contact. Being sealed in a watertight location prevents her from escaping using her electrified form.

Description:
While using her Elecrtification technique, Maki can create thunderclaps by bringing her electrified state hands together. Up close, this blast of noise is almost deafening. Victims can take permanent hearing damage from being so close to Maki after several Thunderclaps in succession.
Weakness:
The further away, the less bothersome the thunderclap is. As well, though it can do actual damage (to the hearing), it does nothing to physically hinder a foe in a fight. It is more of a powerful distraction.

Description:
After scattering Senbon across an area (or something else conductive), Maki will discharge electricity into them, creating an electrified web across the ground.
Weakness:
The lightning only travels in direct lines to other Senbon needles. This gives very little room to stand, but it is still possible that places to stand can be found. A sufficiently wide wind attack can dispatch the entire web.
