I figured I would make Gero happy. Since apparantly I have been mean to him. I personally don't see how, but here are some screens for you anyway Gero x3 I, earlier, started a game as the Teutonic Order who have proven to be very interesting. The world in 1484 where I resumed my game looked like this: Austria inherited Burgundy, I took Pomerania and Gotland and made Brandenburg and the Livonean Order my vassals. And I am part of the HRE which does help quite a lot to defend against Poland and such. Muscovy is my ally as well. My game had ended last time with the strange battle for Brandenburg. Brandenburg was fighting 2 wars. One against me and one against Magdeburg. I vassalized them during my war but Magdeburg just happily kept conquering the land and took 2 of the provinces that were owned by Brandenburg, much to my dismay. So I set out on a revenge course against Magdeburg, who were now big enough to be my rival. After claim fabrication and waiting for Austria to finish a war (for some reason you can't start wars when Austria, who is Emperor, is fighting one? Or something like that. It didn't let me at least) I attacked Magdeburg, who was allied with the Hansa. It was quite a bloody battle, but in the end Brandenburg got his provinces back. (I'm giving them back to them because that will allow me to integrate Brandenburg all at onces and thus saves Adminpower.) Also Sardinia became independant for some reason... ] After that I decided that Thurigen should probably stop to exist, partly because they were a vassal of Bohemia and I didn't want Bohemia to get bigger. If I started a war with Thurigen Austria joined, if I started it with Bohemia they didn't. So easy choice there. I claimed the province and basically took all the money from Bohemia. Somewhere I also managed to gain Hannover and some other province of Brunswick because Austria was fighting them again. Then somehow the whole of Europe ended up in a war with each other. I had been waiting for a chance to crush Poland (as the mission was called) and had made Lithuania my ally (Muscovy had ditched me already...). For some reason they were attacking Poland without inviting me. So I did the same. Then Lithuania dragged my into a war against the Papel States and Hungary and all kinds of weird countries that had nothing to do with either of us. And Austria was fighting with countries. It was weird. I mean look at Poland. In the end I only claimed 3 provinces from Poland and all of their money and then sat back and watched how the rest of Europa ran around doing crazy stuff.

Continuation of the previous post. So the wars raged on and it was pretty damn clear that France was losing. Badly. As in insane really really badly. But that is of course what you get when you fight against Austria and Castille at the same time with only Napels als your ally. It became so badly even that in the end they had absolutely nothing left. I used to be scared of France, but seriously Gelre had more troops then they had. It's kinda sad. As for me, I started converting myself to Protestant, because to form Prussia you need to be Protestant or Reformed. This meant a lot of rebels and such, but because of the fact that I had chosen Religious Ideas in the beginning of the game converting took like 7 months per province. Those Religious Ideas also gave me a Casus Beli against all the people that weren't Protestant. So that is absolutely epic since that is basically most of Europe. With the Teutonic Order converted i was finally able to do this: I became Prussia, which is awesome! Though it also meant that I was now a Feudal Monarchy and suddenly had to worry about marriages and, more importantly, an heir. I didn't have one. So I set out to secure a couple of marriages with my allies and vassals. That gave me a weird bug in the game though. Lithuania is my ally but when I tired to get a marriage with them about 20 seconds after I became Prussia the game said this: It disappeared after a month or so, but that is freaking weird. 10000 distance between borders even though I reside right next to them. I am still waiting for an heir btw and it scares me because if my king were to do now a succession war between Austria and France would break out apparently. I don't know why, but it sucks. So King Johann I better gets some children soon. Some minor little countries appeared in the mid 14th century: Corisca And Wales. Go Wales! I started a war with Magdeburg which ended up looking really bleak cause they called in their ally the Hansa who had 22k men along with Hesse. The Hansa then proceeded to call in England. As for my allies, they were like, nope not helping you. So I lost ALL of my army except 5k of canons... which didn't help much. So I set out on a revenge course, made tons of merchanaries and crushed all of them, claiming Magdeburg and thus wiping that off the map. So now the world looks like this. France started a war with England and it seems that they are winning. But Prussia will crush them all at some point!

Continuation from the previous post. In the year 1549 Prussia started to annex the Livonean Order simply because it was getting way too many diplomatic relations with vassals and not with real allies. Currently Brandenburg, Brunswick and Saxony are vassals as well and they take up Dip. Power that is needed. So the Livonean Order had to go. No one would really care if I annexed them anyway. Look how pretty Prussia is becoming. Muscovy really hated me now though and set me as rival. But that is okay, I don't think they are going to attack any time soon. Around the same time I got an Insult Dispute Casus Belli on Poland but couldn't use it because Lithuania would certainly come to their aid and that would suck. But then the following happened. Lithuania and Poland entered in a terrible war against Crimea and the Ottomans which ended with two positive things for me. One, Ukraine became independant. That is not amazing for me, but in general pretty epic. Secondly, and more importantly, Lithuania had to annul all treaties with Poland. So this was time for me to strike. I didn't take any lands. It was more about the presige and power projection. There was a minor war against Denmark which Austria joined with me and we crushed those Danish people. . So then the most shocking thing happened. This message popped up: A succession war between me and Austria for Castille? I didn't even have a royal marriage with Castile or anything. I don't even know why i got the option. Luckily for me, at that time, Austria was fighting France and was losing badly. The only had about 26k left where as I was strong with about 48k. So I figured, what the hell, let's do it. It was kind of rough. Prussia, Brandenburg, Saxony and Brunswick against Austria, Castille, Gelre, Almarc and Bavaria. A good thing that I found out was that my military is way better then that of Castille. Their 25k couldn't hold up against my 16k armyy with 107% discipline and a lot of morale. So Castille was easily crushed, but Austria was a tad bit harder. They kept pulling armies out from everywhere which was annoying. The warscore you need to get a PU isn't little so I had to keep at it for a while. In the end it took me three years, but finally: King Johann I of Habsburg now rules over Castille. It is the only way it could have gone. Of course, Austria hated my gut for it and formed a Coalition against me. France hated me too. Great Brittan however, surprisingly, liked me quite a bit and does still want to be allies with me. So this: Is the world in 1573. As you can see, Ireland has become independant again. Tyrone managed to get free and claim all of the island. No clue how. Algiers is gone, taken over by Tunesia. Ukraine still exists. Wales disappeared again (much to my dismay) and France is again OP as hell. It's all fun and games.

The reign of the Mad King, A journey through time.
This first step..
Carthage Part I,
Fighting with scratches!
Council so far ; Relative who hammers that the mad King should watch his grammar and spelling ; Zoesje.
War advisor : Ser Roro of Lance them a lot!
Our story starts in the year 272 BC. With the reign of the Mad King Gerontis, who has came out of nowhere the citzens call BC not Before Christ but rather : Bacon Confederationship. Why? Nobody knows and there rumours are that the Mad King doesn't accept anybody who doubt his decisions. There have been several people who already disappeared when they questioned the newest and strange ruler. Alas, with the rather strange antics of their new king, the people of Cartage set out to strengthen their realm. The problem is however that our so magnificent ruler isn't really a king. He is the family head of the Barca family. Yes, you darn maggot. Like Hannibal Barca. Even ironically, the current ruler of the Barca Family is named Hannibal. And please no, don't ask. At the moment the Mad King hasn't gifted the brave man any elephants yet. As you can see, we have two other promiment houses. Pesky people if you ask me. Though they support and gift the starting realm of the Mad King with able bodied generals and admirals, there is a slight confusion. Historically, the Carthagians weren't truly Hellenistic folk. They aren't called the Heirs of the Phoenicians for nothing. Our Mad King prefers Hellenistic culture above all! But with the current armies being quite small and not that professional, the Mad King was enraged. That was truly maddening! How could the glory and madness of the Mad King spread if the armies were sodding crybabies that were even small in numbers? Simply outrageous! Thus the Mad King decided to invest into building a bigger army. Navy? HAH! For now the Mad King doesn't see the need for a strong navy. Even if there are isles who are loyal to Carthage and the Mad King, the latter doesn't seem that interested in naval warfare... If that only will work out well. Thus so it started. The armies were growing in numbers and might. The people were grinning as they noticed that the Mad King had a good eye for developing land armies. Some were still worried over the navy, but didn't dare to voice their opinion on it. With the armies of Carthage growing, there were some events that started a troublesome time. Something that made the Mad King even more mad! Har! Fear?! The damn tribes in Iberia (Spain) are aroused by the news that the might of the Mad King is growing. They should be scared as the spears and swords of the Mad King will soon butcher those who even dare to resist against his influence and power! Not trying to throw stupid insults that we are fearing them. Maybe their stench, but that is a topic for another day. With our armies in the west, in Iberia, mustering more brave soldiers to fight the barbaric Iberians, there was however more grim news. It seems that the Mad King isn't short on enemies as more are gathering. Even in places that should be silent as the biggest armies (yes yes, with elephants) are being enlarged by more recruits. ''THEY SHALL BADE IN FLOWERS AND BE ENLIGHTEND BY ALE!''Thus the words of the Mad King when he heard of the declaration of war of the Greek city-state, Syracuse. The declarations of war made the people of Cartaghe a bit scared, as their mad King started to become more and more aggressive, but they also became more confident. The preparations to go to war were increased as the people of Carthage decided that this was the time. The hour of the Mad King, where they would push their adversies aside and once and for- WHUT?There is some urgent news. A messenger came running into the court of the Mad King, who was being annoyed as one of his relatives was kind of hammering that he should improve his grammar and spelling talents. Grumbling he tried to ignore her continuous hammering that he should do that, but then the messenger blurted out that he had important news. Another enemy had presented itself with giving a declaration of war towards the mighty Mad King! It stayed quiet and those inside the court were terrified. The mad King himself was trembling and slowly turning red. The present priests were afraid that their proclaimed ruler would turn into a Mad Tomato King. But thank the gods, he didn't. He just started to mutter and grumble as shaking with his right fist towards the entrance of his court. The only present person who likely seems to understand his reaction was the relative, who shook her head and walked away. Mumbling something about that he would likely not listen at all to her reason and logic. No, instead the Mad King decided to increase his main army with more recruits. Deciding that the navy should defend their interest in Sicily, who was now more under threat due the threat of the Roman Republic and Syracuse city-state, the Mad King had send word that another army should be formed in Lilybaeum. They would carry the name of Tusks of Destiny (Seriously, I didn't made that name, but they are awesome!) But with the increased armies and founding of the new mighty Tusks of Destiny, the Mad King decided to listen to some advice of his council. He started to send messengers to seek aid in both trade as in military means. Showing that he understood that he should be a bit more calm, the Mad King turned his gaze to the enemies of Rome. ''Of course I do, but wait a bit longer for my words. I need to make use of the little private room. That little swine I had devoured before is kind of bothering me!'' ''Yes. Truth... Not the spears I will throw in your face if you won't accept my treaty offers. Huurm.'' With the two factions made more friendly towards the Mad King, there was some urgent news. The enemies of our Mad King hadn't sit still! No, the cowardly jackals had mustered armies as well. The jackals have started to march on the sacred grounds that are under the might and influence of the Carthaginian ruler. Surely, the Mad King would crush those sodding bleeding fools with the might of his armies? Grumbling that he was sick of waiting, the Mad King had sent Hannibal Barca (NO, NOT THE HANNIBAL BARCA!) towards Scily. The barbaric fools in the west could try to wrest control of Qart Hadasht, but the stone walls and stout soldiers would prove a strong match for them. A too strong match! Besides, the news spread as one of the generals was gifted with a weapon from the Mad King. One that would surely help in him in the coming wars and battles! A weapon that the general Maco in Qart Hadast would deem useful to those pesky hairy barbarians! And yes! The barbaric horde was utterly crushed. Like waves they slammed themselves against the stout walls of the city. Howling battle cries and bearing arms, they tried to storm the battlements. But they were awaited by the defenders. The soldiers of the Mad King. And rest assured. Many of those foolish idiots found their grave by a javelin piercing their body! Or a spear thrusting into their hairy bodies! Har har! Glory to the Mad King! ''FLEE NORTH, YOU FOUL SCUM! AND DON'T SHOW YOUR BEARDS AROUND THE CITIES OF THE MAD KING ANYMORE!'' After the battle, the general Mago would receive a letter. One written in poorly made grammar. The tribe leader of the Edetani tribe wanted peace. After the rather humiliating defeat, he wasn't interested into testing the might of the Mad King again. This made the Mad King hyped as he started to order that General Mago should advance. This was a good omen as seven goose had flew over the palace and one of them had delivered a shit on a guard on noon. Such an omen was truly send by the gods that they should advance to crush those sodding fools! But then the war advisor, a very tall and blond man, managed to calm down the Mad King and advised him that there were enough enemies. It would do some good that the Mad King would some grace and mercy on those who weren't at his level. Grumbling, the Mad King accepted the peace treaty. But then.... while the first Barbaric Horde fled away from the walls, grim news reached General Mago. Another hairy opponent was sighed on the horizon of the city. Truly, those barbarians were even more stupid than mules. They were prepared to but their heads again to the battlements of the walls of the great city? Har har, more blood and glory for the Mad King! The news caused the Mad King to become hyped. The relative and the war adviser had to bring more reliable members of the Mad King court to calm him down. He wanted to send the Mad King Swords under the leadership of General Mago to strike at the new invading forces. But with some loses, it would result in defeat. Or wait, sorry. I mean that the barbarians would need to be lured closer to the walls of the city so that they could be butchered as the foul creatures they were!

The reign of the Mad King, A journey through time.
Pride on the fields of war.
Carthage Part II,
Gaining the upper hand!
Council so far ;
The courageous and civil bodyguard ; Ser Chrome
The Devious Priestess ; Sassli
Relative who hammers that the mad King should watch his grammar and spelling ; Zoesje.
War advisor : Ser Roro of Lance them a lot!
Where were we? Ah yes! The enemies of the Mad King have gathered armies to strike at those of the Mad King! First on to the battle of Qari Hadashi. The Barbaric horde had made a camp as they likely were waiting for either that armies of the Mad King would march upon them and luring them out from their strong defences. Or they were hoping to receive more reinforcements. This made the Mad King frown and grumble. His war advisor told him that he would need to reinforce the armies first as they were not yet in a good shape to push off a victory at that front. If this battle would be lost, so would be their grip on Iberia! Thus General Mago of the Mad King's Swords legion was sent forth to sally out and attack the invaders. General Mago had the Mad King's Swords legion set at the ready. They were even matched to the barbarians. The Iberian opposition had a lot of swordsmen, ready to test their steel against the servants of the Mad King. Mago wasn't sure if he should attack first. The only entrance he could use was either the front, east or north opening of the camp. Without any artillery, the soldiers under Mago's leadership had to think of an idea to push into the center and try to rout those sodding barbarians! The problem was that the barbarians were each armed with several javelins. Nasty throwing spears that can be painful. Certainly when they land in your face, I wouldn't recommend that. But soon a messenger approached Mago. There was help on the way! From the city guard, the militia had decided that they were sick of those barbaric stench. Huzzah! Waiting, the enemy had already taken their positions. They didn't know that there was another force of the Mad King marching towards them! Their stench likely had blinded them! Hah! Then the waiting began. Which started to bother Mago. Then soon the battle started! They say that pictures talk a thousand words, right? Let them then talk! Victory and honor to the Mad King! ''Go men! The Hour of the Mad King is nearby!''''Go men! The Hour of the Mad King is nearby!''''Let them show the sharp truth of the Mad King lads!''''Surround and conquer!''''Damn, they got sodding darn cavalry!''''Remember that I should buy...armor for my soldiers. Wait? We breached their ranks! Advance!''''Hah! They think that charging their reserve units will help!''''Lets finish those stinking bastards! Mago leads now the charge.''''Oh... This wasn't the plan!''''Still a victory for the Mad King's Swords legion! They even learned something. Probably that Iberians should be afraid of them now! Ha!''
The Battle over Sicily! Now with their grip on Iberia once more secured, the attention went back to the island of Sicily. The armies of the Mad King were marching towards the bridge that would lead to Syracuse. However the latter decided to meet them head on. Led by their finest, the Mad King was advised by both his war advisor as his body guard to send his finest general to lead the fight. Orginally the Mad King wanted to send the Tusks of Destiny in the fray, due they having an unit of war elephants. But the whole council said it would be better if the main forces would meet first with the enemy. Grunting, the Mad King admitted to the council. After all, the one that would get the victory here today would be the one that had the opening to conquer the other. Thus seizing control over the island! ''The initiation of the battle! ''''Carthaginian side''''Syracuse side.''''Enemy reinforcements on their way!''''The Tusks of Destiny marching forward to aid the Mad King's Spears legion! ''''The enemy charges the falanx of the brave soldiers, who serve the Mad King!''''Har! We welcome them with gifts! Throw them, boys!''''The enemy bashes and crashes against the mighty line of the Carthaginians! ''''Swordsmen of Hannibal sweep from the left side to relieve some pressure of the line.''''Fall back for now! Let their tired reinforcements crash against the main line!''''Falanx against falanx. A grim battle.''''The battle went even as men clashed. But then Hannibal send forth his swordsmen to do another swooping!''''Here! The battle plans are going well. The Mad King will be pleased.''''Ha! The cowardly sods are already turning tail! Lets finish the last fighting bastards and claim this day!''''A baltajon of soldiers managed to sneak past and charges the enemy general! Lets cut him up boys!''''Time for the legions of the Mad King to push the enemy back and crush them!''''The fate of Sicily is decided now. And by the blood of the Syrucasian soldiers.''''The results of the battle!''With the forces of Syrcasue defeated and routed, the army of the Mad King lust for more victory. With a decisive victory, the road towards Syrucase laid open. Much to the joy of the Mad King and his council. However, as the Mad King started to plan his next move he found out that his council was plotting! Much to his dismay, they were planning to go on a vacation trip towards the city that would fall for his mighty army. How could they? They hadn't asked if he wanted to join them! Aaargh! Only a small remaining force is left from the crushing victory on the army of Syrucase and the swift attack on the city itself. But word arrive that the armies of Mordor- I mean Rome are mustering. Those bleeding sods will soon taste Carthaginian steel. Even though the council advises the Mad King that serving them steel made from their smiths won't be eaten by the Romans. Again, the joy of the Mad King is being thwarted by his own councilors! Such a cruel lot, are they.

Madness in the skies! Is it a bird? A plane-
No, it is a damn bird. ''Just a little scratch. I can still fly!''''My plane just assploded and I get ''Soft Landing''. Whut?''''I seriously begin to doubt the term ''Soft Landing'' by now...''''Being Roro's Wingman. One must endure Roro's...scolding in the chat.''''Proof that Roro is a killing machine in the skies.''''Flying with bombers, but Roro's plane is heavily damaged! D: ''''Then he had this idea... It did worked... ''''Seriously what is with these soft landings?!''''Even while half of my plane wrecked, I managed to rek an enemy plane. That and I claimed my old title.. ''''Best squad in a few rows. Huzzah ''

And then the patch messed everything up So the new patch came out for Eu4 and screwed with my game. After a lot of tinkering though (with the help from a reliable guy unlike all you other unhelpful people coughRorocough) I got it back working again, but now my Prussia game was kind of weird. For starters both me and Lithuania have land in our country that we can't access and is name a colony. Since I have no colonists what so ever that land is NEVER going to be mine even though it is right there. You can kind of see it in this screenshot: There is a little patch of land next to Ermland that is totally inaccessible. Meanwhile Austria found it incredibly funny to keep fighting France. which I personally don't really mind since together we can take France, but he also finds it incredibly funny on times to not call me in meaning I have to sit and watch how France and Austria are going for each others throats without being able to do something. Luckily they did call me in this time and with me of course Castile, since they are still my PU. We totally rek France. And Naples for that matter. Naples keeps trying to take over Corsica who is allied with Austria so that is really stupid even if you have France on your side. And in this war I managed to claim some lands from him and make Sicily as my lovely vassal. It took another war, but now it looks like this: About a year of ten later, while I was taking over the Hansa and doing some battles against the Palatines, Russia formed. Me and Lithuania had broken Crimea several times (Lithuania kept fighting them it was kind of sad) and now we also have Georgia who is becoming massive. There was an interesting scenario going on where I could fight Lithuania for a PU over Genoa... But I don't really see why I would want to fight my ally over such a small piece of land. Its literally one province that I will never really use so I passed up on that. Now this was by far the best war Lithuania and I were in. Lithuania decided to attack the Ottomans, who were my rivals, so I, of course, decided to join in. The Ottomans themselves were boring as hell, the real fun came from the Timurids and Georgia. At that time I was at mil. tech. 17 and had filly researched a couple of ideas giving me some extra discipline because of Prussian Ideas. Next to that I had quite some moral. Meaning that when 50k Timurids walked up upon my 26k army I didn't even have to be afraid. With their tech 14 and lower discipline they got beat every time they tried. And seriously, they tried it a lot. Georgia was a bit tougher since they actually were on the same tech level. But Lithuania and I could handle it. Hejar decided to show up at the end of the war when everyone was mostly dead and followed his allies suit. Dead. This was what it looked like: Oh, also somehow Montenegro became independent. No clue as to how that happened. It was not me. Then at some point a very complicated war started where Lithuania was at war with the Palatines and France, but me and Austria had started a separate war against Sweden who also called in the Palatines. Meaning I could help Lithuania against the Palatines, but not fight their war against France. That made for some really complicated battles. Also I like this new co-belligerent system very much. It means that I can start a war with Munster, who will call in Denmark, but Denmark won't call in its allies if I don't want them too, so no Russia on my doorstep. But I can take over parts of Denmark as was my mission. Best thing about this war was that after a year or so Castille finally managed to get 7 troops in Denmark using transport ships. Oh and the fact that my 11k army could beat 25k from Denmark. That was also fun. To be continued...

OBSERVATIONS: Gained altitude untill 4km, observed enemt Spitfire Mk I climb next to me. He realized I outclimbed him and dove on an a bomber of 4./KG 12. I gave chase, the Spitfire dove. Several hits with the 20mm. Spitfire recovers from dive at 2.5km altitude. I fire a second burst at very close range, and the Spitfire loses his wings and suffers from an engine fire. Spitfire spins out of control into the deck, British pilot bailed (Claim destroyed). My right wing suffered light damage from debris from the Spitfire. I pull up and gain altutude untill 3.4km. Engaged by captured Bf 109 E-1 from below, I break hard to the left. Neglectible damage sustained. I dive hard to lose the Bf 109 and since I had more altitude at engagement start I outrun him. At 2.3km enemy Bf 109 pulls out of the dive, I use newly gained energy to pull up on his six. He spots me and breaks hard to the right. He dives and I follow untill 0.7km altitude, right above the mountainous ground, where I send a 20mm burst in his plane. The Bf 109 continued on a straight slightly upwards line, presumed complete loss of control as pilot bailed out (Claim destroyed). Regain altitude and energy untill 2.4km. Bounced on British Hawker Hurricane Mk II at very low altitude engaged in a dogfight. I rip off his wingtip and he spins right into the deck (Claim destroyed). I break hard left as I receive fire from a P-40-E-1 Kittyhawk. I get on his six as he attempts to flee by closely following the terrain, I rip off his wingtip, sending him into an uncontrollable spin into the deck (Claim destroyed). Suffered from medium damage on my left flaps from friendly fire. A second P-40 gets on my six. I dive gently into a canyon and engage superchargers, slowly outrun him into Staffel 2./JG 53. I pull up and get on his six while he is distracted, and fire a burst into his tail (Claim damaged). Regained altitude and energy untill 1.5km. I bounce on a LaGG-3, his engine explodes and suffers from a fuel tank fire. Eventually his crate sails into a canyon cliff (Claim destroyed). Regain altitude untill 1.2km, spotted an enemy ground attacker on my 8 above me, starting climbing and rolled on his tail as he dove towards Italian transports. Fired a burst and achieved several hits. A second run took off his right wingtip, but Gregor Gabler had already killed the pilot (Claim damaged, confirming claim). Regained altitude and energy untill 1.9km. Bounce on one enemy fighter who put down Henk Grünberg's Bf 110 moments before, who suffer from an air collision with Siegfried Herschel's Bf 109 (Confirmed claim, Claim damaged). All pilots seen bailing out. Continue dive on F2A Buffalo, send a burst into his tail. Buffalo attempts to dive and break right hard, but hits the deck (Claim destroyed). Regain altitude and energy untill 1.5km. Bounce on a P-26 Peashooter, rip off his entire tail section, the plane stalls into the deck (Claim destroyed). Continue dive onto the 9 of a diving SBD-3 Dauntless, his bomb payload explodes under his wings, creating a large explosion which left little of the plane intact (Claim destroyed). Regained altitude untill 2.5km, no enemy targets remaining, returned to base at 1435.
